My name is Daria, Dasha for short.
My surname is Berezhnaya.
I study in the 5th A form,
private school Az Buki Vedi, Rostov-on-Don.
I have many hobbies. I like drawing and dancing. I attend Drama Club and like to perform on the stage. My favourite subject at school is English.
The most popular place in the city is the Don Embankment, which is always full with city residents and tourists. Visitors like to sit on carved benches and enjoy colorful carpets of flowerbeds. People can walk in the shadows of towering trees and along black cast-iron fences on the river bank. Some of them stop to listen to the street musicians performing Russian folk and Cossack songs. It is impossible not to notice the statue of Rostovchanka erected on the bank. The statue represents a young girl of Rostov with her hair fluttering in the wind. She symbolizes the beauty of all the Rostov women. On the memorial board next to the monument everybody can read a poem dedicated to women of Rostov. And you can always have a trip on the snow-white steamboats along the river Don. I really like this place!
