I love Orenburg. I was born here and glad that not in any other place. Orenburg is a beautiful town in the south of the Ural Mountains between two rivers the Ural and the Sakmara. Especially it is lovely in summer, when the beds of flowers shine with different colours. Orenburg was founded on 19 April 1743. On 5 October 1773 to 23 March 1774 Orenburg was besieged by the army of Yemelyan Pugachev. In 1833 the famous Russian writer Pushkin visited the area Berdy in the town.
Now I’ll write about interesting well-known places which you can visit in Orenburg. The main street is Sovetskaya. There is a monument to Pushkin and Dal and Drama Theatre - the oldest theatre of Orenburg. There are also many shops and cafees. Not far from Drama Theatre there is Orenburg Regional Museum of Local History. Different rare things and weapons are collected there. If you are going shopping then Mall Armada is for you. It’s a giant building with wide halls and lot of shops, there is also the cinema , where you can enjoy new films.
