Назарова Ольга Олеговна
My name is Olga Nazarova. I am 14 years old. I live in Moscow. I was born and I still live in the area Pechatniki. 2 streets (Shosseinay and Kuhmisterova) cross and form the territory of this area.
Many years ago the small village situated here. And it gave its name to our area. It isn’t clear why it was called Pechatniki. But this village has rather long history. It has been known since the 15th century. It was owned by the boyar Kutuzov. Today our district consists of 2 neighborhoods- Pechatniki and Kurianovo. About 74400 people live here. There are 13 streets, 230 industrial enterprises, 9 schools, 17 kindergartens, a music school, several clinics in our area. Also, there are a lot of cultural centers and places for entertainment, a swimming pool and many others.
In 1995 a metro station was opened here. Now it is very convenient for us to get to the city center. The main place of interest in our area is Nechola- Perervinski monastery. It has been known since the 17-th century. Catherine II stayed here on her way to the Crimea. It was closed in 1923. But it was opened again in1990s. The services in the Church of the monastery are conducted every day. One more important attraction is our people. They are kind, sympathetic and cheerful. I like this area and I am proud that I live and learn here.
