Vereshchagino. Му Native Town.
Емельянова Марина, ученица 6 класса
I am from Vereshchagino. Vereshchagino is the western gates into Perm region. It is named after the famous artist, V.V. Vereshchagin. Не stayed in our town when he was going to the Far East. I am glad to live in my town. It is a small town but it is nice. It is a railway station, that’s why there is a steam-engine standing as a monument. Of course there is a monument to V.V. Vereshchagin and to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. There are places where I can go to when I have free time: a cinema, libraries, 2 Children’s centres, a museum. You can see different old things, tools, clothes in the museum. Sometimes there are exhibitions from other museums. It is very important to know the history of your native place. But my school is the best. I think my teachers are the best. I like to get new information. My favourite subjects are English, Russian and literature. I have got many friends there. The nature is beautiful. There are small rivers and ponds, parks where people spend time together. There are many flowers in the streets in summer. It is pleasant to walk there. I love my town. This is my Motherland.
