Chumbarova-Luchinsky Avenue is in the Lomonosov district of the city of Arkhangelsk. Extent of the prospectus of 1200 meters. It is located parallel to Troitsky Avenue, lasts from Vyucheyskogo St. to Svobody St. The prospectus site from John Street Kronstadt to Charles Street Libknekhta is the foot zone closed for motor transport. The reduced name of the prospectus — Chumbarovka. There passes Chumbarova - Luchinsky through 8 streets.
The prospectus is called in honor of the poet and revolutionary figure Feodor Stepanovich Chumbarova-Luchinsky. Till 1921 carried the name Pskov, even earlier Average and Bolshaya Meshchanskaya Street. The offer on assignment of a name of Chumbarova-Luchinsky of one of city streets was accepted at the ceremonial meeting (18.04.1921) devoted to the first anniversary of a reconstruction of Arkhgorraykom (after liberation of Arkhangelsk from white and interventionists). The final decision of a question took place at presidium on June 23, 1921. Chumbarovka Avenue some kind of museum, here is a unique collection of wooden structures of old Arkhangelsk. The most known building transported here — Marfin Dom.
In 2005 at the initiative of mayor Alexander Donskogo prospectus restoration on national money began. In 2009 it was finished, the prospectus was completely open for citizens. There were bruschaty pavements, lamps, benches, beds. Also on Chumbarova-Luchinsky Avenue two monuments — to Stepan Pisakhov and one of heroes of fairy tales of Pisakhov — to the Arkhangelsk man to Seine Malines were open.
