Kiner. My school
Иванкова Юлия, ученица 10 класса
Hi, my name is Yulia. I am 16 years old. I live in the village Kiner, which is a 15 minute drive from Staraya Tushka and attend school in Staraya Tushka.
Well, here is my story. The village Kiner is neither big nor small. About 500 people live there. There are 2 shops, a club, a library and a school. In my opinion, the best place in my village is the school. Everyone must have an education. You can’t do without it. My school is a 9-year-old comprehensive one. It is rather old because it is 82 years old.
There are 64 pupils and 11 teachers. My school has a happy and cheerful atmosphere. Everyone gets along with each other. Our teachers really try to prepare their pupils for life after finishing school.
I must say that life in my school is very interesting. Our principal and teachers know children’s interests and hobbies. So they often arrange parties, sports competitions, olympiads on different subjects and organize excursions. There are also club activities such as, wood – working, drama and sport clubs. Besides, pupils have their own school newspaper. Moreover, most of classrooms have computers and interactive boards. But the most favourite place is a skating – rink, which was built last year, all children and even adults come there and skate. I spent 9 years at this school. I studied, I had many friends there, I learnt a lot. I understand that I was happy at my school. I like my school and miss it very much.
