Like most residents of Moscow I am happy and proud to say that I am Muscovite. Our city has such beautiful and comfortable living areas. The area in which I live is Strogino. The first mention dates back to 1570 to the village at the place where today is located the Strogino. In the 16th century this village was known as Royal stable administrative district. In the 19th century the former name of the village has been simplified and it was books as the Strogino.
By the beginning of the 20th century there was a thriving village of Strogino. On the eve of the First World War there were shops, tea-room and two-storey inns. In 1991 the area became part of the North-Western administrative Okrug of Moscow. On the one hand, Strogino - the big industrial zone, but on the other hand is a magnificent place for entertainment. There are a lot of sports constructions in this area, pools, children's playgrounds, many people ski and sledge in park, on hills and extreme springboards in the winter. Besides all in Strogino there are a lot of schools including military school. There is also a shopping center and set of shops where it is possible to pick up things for all tastes.
This is a great place to live! I love this very district!
